"When John learned of an Arts Delegation planning to travel to El Salvador in July '06 he generously donated his time to help make the trip possible. John organized photographs and captions into a revolving slide show that provided wonderful visual images of El Charcón, the rural community that the delegation would be visiting.

The visual display was presented at a fundraiser that benefitted delegation members who would otherwise not have been able to afford the cost of the trip.
